Our advanced teacher training course goes beyond the standards necessary to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). We cover anatomy/ physiology, teaching methodology, techniques including pranayama, chanting, meditation, and philosophy. With classes one weekend every other month, this program is accommodating to any schedule.

The Advanced Teacher Training program takes 10 weekends and 6 months of online & phone contact in the Mentorship Program. When completed you will be able to register as a 500 hour yoga teacher.
How much does the program cost?
The program costs $250 per weekend for the 10 weekends and $50 for each Mentorship Program for a total cost of $2800.
Do I have to attend all weekends?
You can pick and choose the weekends that you would like to attend. You have three years to finish the advanced training program. If you do not wish to complete the entire program, you may join a weekend to receive 20 hours of CE's from Yoga Alliance. Weekend cost is $250.
Who may apply?
Students who have graduated from an approved 200 hour yoga teacher training program.
Where is the program located?
All programs are held at Shoals Yoga 228 N Court St Florence, AL.
Are your instructors qualified to teach yoga?
Lead Trainer, Danielle Snoddy, is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level and has been teaching yoga since 2010. Guest instructors are professionals in their fields of expertise and have worked in the field in which they instruct.

What equipment do I need?
A notebook, pen, and yoga mat. All other materials and props are supplied for your use. The books used for our training are readily available at book stores or online.
What do I wear?
Comfortable clothing. Layering is a great option as we move from warming practices to cooling practices throughout the day.
May I bring snacks?
Please bring snacks! Coffee, hot tea, and water are provided and lunch is taken at noon each day.
