Creating a sacred space that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day. 

Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do. According to the popular book The Secret, “The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe.”

In this four week series led by Danielle Snoddy, E-RYT 500 and Yoga of Recovery Counselor,  we will integrate the wisdom of Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, and traditional recovery tools to overcome addictive and self-destructive behavior. We know that addiction as a disease relates to pharmaceuticals, alcohol, nicotine, and drugs but we will also look at addiction as it relates to caffeine, food, sugar, shopping, people, devices, and our daily behaviors. This series is open to anyone seeking a mind-body-spirit approach to better understand their addictive/compulsive behaviors. This is an opportunity to reclaim our lives, our heroic journeys, and our ability to share, respond, care, and heal.

Our Teacher Training Course provides an opportunity to awaken and/or deepen your yoga practice, meet old and new friends, and to be a part of the Shoals Yoga community which is growing each day. The best part of all is learning that everything we need is already within us and how the practices can lead us into accessing our gifts and beauty from the inside out. The experience provides a great way to find long lasting happiness, peace and the ability to share the yogic lifestyle with others.

Why take a beginners series?

The Beginners Yoga series is a great way to focus on your poses, ask questions, develop your practice and make new friends. Ashley will demonstrate poses and make alignment adjustments, focusing on your practice. This is a great way to learn the basics in an intimate non-competitive environment.
